Thai Spa Day 2007, a spa event designed to showcase innovative, high quality spa products and services offered by recognized members of the Thai Spa Association, will be hosted at Central World Plaza during March 17-18, 2007. The event is being jointly organized by the Thai Spa Association (TSPA), the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Central World and on line tour operator Earth Hop.
Spa lovers and would-be spa operators should not miss this chance to meet real spa professionals.
HighlightsMore than 40 of Thailand's leading spa providers, and health and spa product suppliers across Thailand, such as Imperial Spa, St. Carlos Medical Spa, Tiger Eyes Trading, Progressive International and Tropica Life, will be presenting their spa innovations in products and services, reflecting upcoming trends of the spa industry.
Other Thai Spa Day highlights for trade visitors include spa business consulting services, demonstrations, and seminars on the global spa trend, technique and creativity needed for being highly efficient spa professionals.
Thailand's spa market is expected to generate revenue of 10 billion baht in 2007 and is forecast to continue to grow at an annual rate in excess of 20 per cent.

Ultimately, this exemplary spa event aims to complement Thailand's strategic goal of being ASEAN's spa industry leader," said Mr. Apichai Jearadisak, President of the Thai Spa Association.

As of 2006 year-end, the Thai Spa Association consists of more than 210 members including the kingdom’s leading spa operators, health and natural therapy professionals, spa therapists, spa product and equipment suppliers, spa training schools, hoteliers, spa resorts and travel agents.
The number of the TSPA members is expected to continue to increase in line with the estimated huge growth of the Thai spa market in the next two or three years. Not only the international market but also the domestic market will become stronger because of the increased number of Thai customers.
Thai Spa 2007 aims to create a positive image and promote the popularity of Thai spa products both internationally and domestically.
