THAI SKY FESTIVAL 2007 March 13 - 17, 2007 Prachuap Khiri Khan province


WORLD TEAM TO HONOUR HIS MAJESTY THE KING WITH SPECTACULAR “80” FREEFALL FORMATION Specially selected members of elite team invited to participate Visible from the ground

Members of the World Record Skydiving Group, World Team, will perform a special aerial exhibition over Prachuap Khiri Khan province in Thailand to honour His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX). World Team members begin practice at Wing 53 in Prachuap Khiri Khan on Tuesday, March 13 and by Saturday March 17 expect to complete the elaborate formation in the shape of “80” to mark the auspicious occasion of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej's 80th birthday. The formation will be visible to the naked eye from the ground.

The formation will be visible from the ground and provide opportunities for long-lens photography. World Team will also provide stunning aerial photography with the beautiful Thai east coast at Prachuap Khiri Khan as a backdrop.

Prachuap Khiri Khan lies two hours south of Bangkok by road, and members of the press are invited to attend.

High-resolution digital photographs and broadcast-quality digital video footage are available to member of the press on site. Still images will be transmitted on request via internet immediately following the completed formation. Broadcast video can be obtained in Bangkok on Sunday evening, March 18.
